Sometimes it's just so amazing how pure the minds of the children are. As a primary school graduation gift, I gave my son his first set of Tarot deck - his most favorite choice, the
Dragon Tarot.
That evening, in his bed he opened is new deck and looked at the cards with great interest and excitement. I sat on his bedside and asked him if I could give him a try of how well he could read the cards. Since he don't have any experience in card reading, I told him to just say what he sees in the image of the cards. Remember that the dragon images in this deck is so hard to relate with the other normal Tarot cards.
It really freaked me out when he read the Major Arcanas as follows:
Fool - a crazy man on a trip
Magician - he said it's him
High Priestess - his sunday school teacher
Empress - his mom
Emperor - he said it's him again, I think it's true because he is our king at home
Heirophant - his priesthood adviser
Lovers - he and his dragon girlfriend
Chariot - car racing
Strength - a strong woman
Hermit - our old neighbor
Wheel of Fortune - spinning wheel
Justice - criminal goes to jail
Hanged Man - looking at the world up-side-down
Death - changes going to happen
Temperance - patience
Devil - Satan
Tower - dragon's home
Star - his wish will come true
Moon - someone hiding in the dark
Sun - happy
Judgement - we will be judge by Jesus Christ
World - holiday!
