Would You Allow Anyone Else To Touch Your Cards

Would you allow anyone else to touch your cards? What's your opinion?

In my own way of doing it is that I shuffle the cards and the querent place his/her hands on top of the cards, ask a question, and cut it. That is the only time that the querent could touch my cards. I feel that my connection with my cards diminishes when someone touches it other than during the questioning and cutting.
